Born in Paris over 30 years ago, the Chocolate Fashion Show is the most iconic and theatrical experience of Salon du Chocolat — a global phenomenon that blurs the line between haute couture and haute cuisine. Each creation is the result of an extraordinary collaboration between a fashion designer and a master chocolatier: garments, accessories, and wearable sculptures crafted entirely — or in part — from real chocolate.
Far beyond a runway show, it is a living art performance. Models glide down the catwalk wearing chocolate lace, cacao-bean embroidery, tempered panels, and hand-painted confections — each piece a testament to the extraordinary ingenuity of two crafts united in creative vision.

For the Toronto 2026 edition, the Chocolate Fashion Show takes on a special local dimension. In partnership with Seneca Polytechnic, we are proud to present a lineup of talented alumni and established designers from Toronto's thriving fashion community — creatives who have shaped the city's style landscape and now bring their vision to the most unique runway in the world.
These Toronto-rooted designers, paired with skilled chocolatiers, will push the boundaries of imagination and bring to our eyes a world of wonders — where the familiar warmth of chocolate meets the boldness of contemporary Canadian fashion.

At the heart of every piece is an extraordinary human collaboration. A fashion designer dreams the silhouette — the drape, the structure, the emotion of a garment. A master chocolatier answers the challenge: tempering, sculpting, painting, and weaving chocolate into every stitch and seam.
This creative duo navigates the impossible together — chocolate that must hold its shape under stage lights, lace panels tempered to perfection, embroideries made from shaved cacao, buttons cast from dark couverture. The result is something the world has never seen anywhere else: fashion that is truly alive, imbued with the warmth, texture, and soul of chocolate.
Each show is a debut. Each creation exists for one night only. That is the magic of the Chocolate Fashion Show — ephemeral, unforgettable, and absolutely spellbinding.

Eight collaborations between Toronto designers and master chocolatiers — one silhouette, one vision, brought to life in chocolate.
