Biography

Chef Steven Tran started his culinary career at the age of 16. After winning a local teen culinary competition that awarded him a scholarship to attend culinary school, it was an internship in the south of France that would redirect him into the pastry world.

From there Chef Steven went on to work in 2 Michelin star Le Manoir aux Quat' Saison, Le Pommier Patisserie in Tokyo, Patisserie Arnaud Larher (M.O.F) in Paris, Daniel Boulud in New York, Maison Wittamer in Brussels, Thomas Haas in Vancouver, and the Four Seasons and Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto. Most recently, Chef Steven competed on Food Network's Spring Baking Championship and won, taking home the top prize.

Steven Tran Chocolatier & Pâtissier is an amalgamation of all these experiences — a business where he takes full creative control. "Going back to basics and doing what I love, which is chocolates and pâtisserie."
